WEST COAST FC ONE OF 24 ELITE YOUTH SOCCER CLUBS TO LAUNCH THE WESTERN COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
On June 13, 2010, A new premier youth soccer program focused on established, elite clubs delivering consistent, high-quality competition and college readiness services for its members launched. Twenty-four youth soccer clubs across the western United States formed the Western College Development Academy, which debuts this summer with teams representing clubs in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada and Colorado. West Coast FC proudly announces it’s participation as one of the 24 founding clubs.

West Coast FC Premier U17s coached by Braeden Cloutier and Oliver Wyss reigned victorious after a scoreless overtime went into penalty kicks where our boys emerged 5-4 over New Mexico’s Elite FC Gladiators. WEST COAST FC BOYS PROGRAM VOTED #19 IN SOCCER AMERICA 2009 NATIONAL RANKING
West Coast Futbol Club’s Boy’s Program has been voted #19 in Soccer America’s 2009 National Ranking!
Soccer America states, "West Coast won its first U.S. Youth Soccer national championship when it beat St. Louis Scott Gallagher, 2-0, in the U-14 finals. It also won the 2008 Super Y-League U-15 title. It was the only Southern California club with two players in U-17 residency last fall." The criterea Soccer America uses to select the top 40 clubs is based on the success of the club’s teams in national youth competitions over the last three years (2007-09) and national recognition for players from these clubs in 2009.
