In another example of Major League Soccer’s commitment to developing youth players in America, LA Galaxy and West Coast Futbol Club (WCFC) have joined together to create a partnership that the two organizations believe will help change the future of youth soccer. The partnership will provide unparalleled opportunities for Orange County youth to reach new levels in the game, and possibly open doors for a select few to become professionals.

Congratulations to Will O'Connor, Chase Paulson, & Jake Gayoso for being

selected to the 2012 CalSouth ODP Winter Pool travel teams. They will travel

to Phoenix Jan 14 - 17th for the Region IV Championship tournament. All 3

players play for Erik Kirsch's BU13 & BU14 teams. Overall, West Coast is

sending 6 boys players and 6 girls players to this tournament.

2011 was the first year for our GU15 squad in the ECNL league.  It proved to be a successful one!  Not only did they finish their season with a top 5 spot, they fought their way to a Bronze finish in the ECNL National Championships in Denver, Colorado.  Great job girls! 

Congratulations to 4 of our girls who have been selected to attend the upcoming National Team Camps.  Hannah Armedariz ('97) and Natalie Jacobs ('97), pictured above, will be attending the the GU14 National Team Camp in Portland.  Chloe Hemingway ('96) and Christina Settles ('96) have been selected to attend the GU15 National Team Camp on August 21-29.  Great job girls!
